August 2013: Family rescue at Mawgan Porth

We were called to attend to a rescue involving Falmouth Coastguard, the rescue helicopter and RNLI following an incident in which four children and their father were swept out to sea by a rip current at around 7.30pm - just one hour after lifeguards had left the beach.

Fortunately no one was seriously injured - but the incident could easily have ended in tragedy.

As yet we don't know how much has been raised for the NCA and other charities but we'll let you know as soon as possible.
